A simple and sturdy feeder for your chicks

The hopper works on a simple principle: the feed is dispensed from the bottom into a circular tray where the chicks come to peck. As long as there is feed left in the hopper, the tray refills automatically. Your chicks have a constant supply of food, and you need to top it up far less often than with a standard feeder.

Adjusting the height of the hopper allows you to control the amount of feed that reaches the tray. Less feed in the tray means less waste: the chicks don’t scatter the food and it stays clean for longer.

Set-up and maintenance

Installation

Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface, out of the way, in the brooder or henhouse. Then adjust the height of the hopper to achieve the desired feed flow.

Filling

Remove the lid, pour the feed into the hopper, then replace the lid. The feeder is supplied fully assembled: it is ready for use upon receipt.

Maintenance

Regularly empty out any leftover feed, wash the feeder with water, then leave it to dry thoroughly before refilling it.
