GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Prior to application, adjust pH to 7.0, ensure all sanitizer levels are at 0 mg/L and backwash filter.

CAUTION: When using on marble finishes or printed vinyl liners, DO NOT put the product in direct contact with pool surfaces. In these cases, depending on the severity of the stain, it is recommended to :

a) Using the dosage directions below, pre-dilute the required dosage into a clean plastic container and, with the pump and filter running, spread it evenly around the pool.

b) Alternatively, place the product in a sock attached to a telescopic pole and hold it near the stained area.

The product should be sprinkled directly on the stained area or spread evenly around the pool with the pump and filter running.

IMPORTANT: Lo-Chlor No More Metal should be added to the pool water as soon as the stain appears to rise from the surface. This will remove dissolved metals that prevent recoloration.

Allow the pump and filter to run for at least 24 hours, backwash the filter and pump thoroughly, then resume normal filtration.

This stain remover reduces both the pH and total alkalinity. After this treatment, the pool water must be rebalanced and disinfected.

When rebalancing your water, increase the total alkalinity first. This should be done slowly over several days (maximum 20 mg/L per day). If the increase is done too quickly, the metal ions that cause staining will reappear on the pool liner.
