This replacement post replaces a damaged post on your cat tree. It measures 9 cm in diameter and 60 cm in height.

The post is covered with natural jute rope. Cats scratch the rope, so the post wears down over time and is easy to replace.

Threaded rods and 2 screws are included. The thread size is M8. Check the diameter, height, and thread size of your old post before ordering.

On a cat tree, the posts wear out first: the cat sharpens its claws on them every day. When the rope is torn off, simply replace the damaged post.

This Trixie post (item 44013) can be assembled using the threaded rods and the 2 screws provided.

Depending on your cat tree model, washers may not always be included: keep the washers from the old post. For large or heavy cats, Trixie recommends cat trees from the XXL line, which are more sturdy.

Tighten the new post by hand, without using excessive force, then check that the tree isn’t leaning. Check the tightness of the screws once a month: the screws can loosen when the cat jumps.
