A Gentle Shampoo for Cats

Cats groom themselves, but a bath is sometimes necessary: for a dirty coat, greasy fur, preparation for a show, or an older cat that doesn’t groom as well. Francodex Gentle and Moisturizing Shampoo (item number 172457) is specially formulated for cats.

The gentle cleansing base cleans the coat without drying out the skin. The pH-neutral formula preserves the skin’s natural moisture balance. The shampoo can therefore be used frequently.

Ingredients in the formula

• D-panthenol (provitamin B5): helps maintain moisture in the skin and coat.
• Vitamins B3 and B6: contribute to a shiny coat, according to the manufacturer.
• Glycerin and vegetable oil derivatives: moisturizing agents.
• Guar gum derivative: a conditioning agent that leaves the coat soft and easy to detangle.

Directions for Use

• Shake the bottle before use.
• Thoroughly wet the cat with lukewarm water.
• Apply a small amount of shampoo and massage the coat and skin to work the lather in.
• Let it sit for a few minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Repeat the process once more, then rinse and dry the cat.

Dry the cat with a towel, then keep the cat in a warm room until its coat is completely dry.
