Description
  • Guinea pigs do not synthesise vitamin C, which is essential for them: a vitamin C deficiency may first result in a state of fatigue, locomotor difficulties, a drop in appetite, and then in more serious symptoms if it persists.
  • The daily vitamin C requirement for a healthy guinea pig is 20mg/kg. This requirement triples during illness, convalescence, pregnancy and lactation (60mg/kg).
  • Shake before use. For maintenance: using the measuring cup, pour 5ml of VITAMIN C FRANCODEX per litre of drinking water.
  • Repeat every day. During convalescence: triple the dose, i.e. 15 ml per litre of drinking water, for 10 days.
  • During gestation and lactation: triple the dose, i.e. 15 ml per litre of drinking water, for the entire period. -
  • PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: as vitamin C is sensitive to light, it is recommended to renew the drinking water every day.
  • To be used in addition to a balanced diet. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
