Flowers are a natural food for many species of herbivorous and omnivorous turtles, can be given to Sulcata, Russian, Pancake, Margined, Leopard, Greek, Hindgeback, Hermann, Star, Desert, Forsten, Redfoot and Box turtles.

The flowers are an excellent source of fiber, minerals and vitamins. "Tortoise & Box Turtle Flower Food Topper" from Zoo Med is a great way to add fiber to your turtle's diet and enrich their routine.

Fiber promotes a healthy gut, while enrichment helps stimulate their senses and can increase activity levels.

This food can be used as a topping, mixed into your turtle's regular diet, or spread around their enclosure.

It can be fed dry or lightly misted with water (misting can cause the natural pigments in the flowers to ooze out).

Provide this food in small quantities 3 to 4 times a week as a supplement to a regular diet.
